I am getting a ball python I did my reasearch and all but I whant second openiens. Like do they need a heat pad and heat lamp? How will the snake know were his humitity box is and what size cage for a small juv?

Yes, they need a heat pad and a heat lamp. They will not have a problem finding the moisture chamber, and I would start out with a 40gal for a small juvenile, at least.
