Website building

Someone I know has asked me to help them build and design their own company website. It a one-person company, but she realizes the need to have one. Anyone know of good hosts (is that even the right term?) Where can we find good affordable domains with the software to help build the website? I'm not even sure if I know what I'm asking! LOL... I have never done anything like this except my free website, which was babically cookie cutter where I filled in the ino. :o

This reviews all the sites, rates them and gives pricing for all of them. I use #5 and have had good luck, but I would say any of the top 5 would be perfectly acceptable.
