FL/GA/MS/AL/LA/TN meeting? [Archive]

Has anyone here from the south actually met besides those individuals in Florida? We should have a PT meeting for all our southerners, or imported southerners. ;)

Yes, last fall Sirrahbed and Sirrahned drove down from Ohio and met CCL in Ky, then drove further south to meet me here in East TN and then I and hubby went with them and met Kimlovescats in middle TN where we adopted R&R and they adopted Robbie and Lizzie from Kim's Rescue - Cats 4 Keeps.

I think it would be fun to have a Southern PT meeting.

I would be willing to drive up there. It would have to be a quick trip, though, as I'm taking a week or so in two weeks. I could probably get a few days off if it's enough in advance. I would come to TN(with Duke, of course)

I'd love to do something like that. I don't know that I'd be able to though. It's hard for me to get away. I have to get off work, which isn't too hard. Justin has to get off work, which is harder. And we have to find someone to stay at our house, which can be difficult.

Hey! That sounds super fun, but let me know where its going to be. It might be a little to far to attend. I could bring Bouncer with me if I am able to come. I could always talk my parents into a weekend trip though! maybe ;)

Make the plans and I'll see if I can make it...maybe a roadtrip for Kayann, me, Honey, and one or two of her babies...that's all that might fit in my mustang! lol

MYRTLE BEACH!!!!! :D :D (hint, hint)

The only problem...not so much pup-friendly things to do...not even a pet store :eek: :o (There is a dog park though...and the beach of course)

But, plenty of accomodations :D lol

I would travel though, for sure...just name a time and place and I should be able to be there

myrtle beach sounds fun, but i don't think i could go that far.:( if i did go that far it would have to be in the summer.

someone needs to think of a date we can all get together.

Myrtle beach is a lil to far for me too. I don't even know if I will be able to make this since I have college and then during the summer I'm going to take summer courses. I really hope I can though.

I feel the same Lute.. Maybe if someone sits a specific date, people can say if they can come or not.

What location would be convenient for everyone? I would love to come if I can.
