I start my preceptorship tomorrow. :) I'm going to the Animal Critical Care Group that Bassett went to when she had her surgery. I will be going every Friday until April 8th, and then I go every day as if it were a real job (for my practicum). I really hope that I will be getting a job there when it's all done! :D

I'm nervous, but excited. Please wish me luck and send me prayers and good vibes!! :D I go from 8am to 4:30pm.. I will be exhausted!!! But it will be worth it :)

It was SO FUN but I'm totally exhausted :p

I got to help restrain a cat that needed blood glucose tests, take doggies for poop and pee breaks, restrain for a series of xrays, clean kennels, clean litter boxes (ah, just like home), TONS of laundry, do an ice pack for a dog who had a knee surgery done, got to look at mites under a microscope (EW), met a PSYCHO cat, saw a surgery through a window - I wanted to go in really bad but hopefully next time :D... cleaned up puke, and pee..

sigh :) now I'm heating garlic bread, drinking chocolate milk, and about to have my dinner of green salad, cottage cheese and warm garlic bread. Taking care of animals makes my HUNGRY!! :D :D

Thanks for all your prayers and well wishes - I had a great day!
