Most places have been ~$1.75- $1.79. Out at the turnpike and I-280, gas is always cheaper. I got it there Sunday in the truck for $1.58 and then took the van out Monday (it is about 8 miles from work, and further from home)and got it for $1.64

I think it's around $1.75 for 87 octane. Some are a little more, some are a little less.

I think it's because they pay per gallon where as we pay per litre:)

Pffft....gas is CHEAP for all of you! :p $2.30 is a very normal price for unleaded gasoline here. I'm not sure of the current price, but I do remember prices going as high as $2.60 + some time back. Its like $2.20 - $2.30 these days...I think. Not positive though. We're lucky if the gas prices EVER go down to $1.something.

I have no idea. I know that prices are out of my control, so I never look. I pump gas with my eyes closed. :D There was a point where it cost $65 to fill up my truck, right now it's around $45, so I guess the prices must be ok.

Last time I drove by it said $1.87 for unleaded. It most likely went up higher since I last drove by (couple of days ago).

$1.99 is the low in the San Francisco Bay Area for self-serve unleaded; although I did see a $1.92 this morning at an Arco station ...
