I just finished watching the Purina Dog Challenge show on TV.

There is a new dock diving world record! The most unlikely of all of the competitors because he was the only one that wasn't a retriever -- it was a border collie named Cappocino. He jumped 28 feet! He even caught the frisbee his handler threw lol.

It was pretty cool.

Are you sure that was a new one and not a repeat? I'm only asking because I'm positive I've seen a dock diving dog go 31'. Of course I could be going crazy, so....... :)

I'm not sure, but all I can find are Cappuccino's old stats. That was back when his best jump was only 25'4.

Just found a website, and yes, it is a new episode, and Cappuccino is the new world record holder. :)

Nope, not Animal Planet..I don't know what channel it was.

Lol, those PMs were really old and you still hadn't answered them and the info in them pretty much no longer applied so I cancelled them LOL. :p

Yeah, that was SO cool! He was just so must faster and lighter than the other contestants! He really flew!

That made me wonder...if somehow I can teach a greyhound to love water, retrieve, jump off docks and swim...how far would he jump? :D

Micki, I'm a little late answering the question, but it was actually on NBC on Saturday afternoon. I caught a glimpse of an agility course that they had set up on Weekend Today Saturday morning, too, but I missed the segment. And there were Goldens on it. :(
