Never put more than one betta in one tank, unless your betta is a female. Two males or a male and a female will fight, and they don't tire out. There are other fish you can put in with a betta, though.
How many gallons is your tank?
BTW, this thread should be in Pet General. ;)

Females may be put into the same tank together if there is lots of space and plants and such to flee to, if needed. Males should never be put into a tank with another betta (well, unless breeding).

I've found that a good rule of thumb for FEMALE bettas is five gallons per fish. So two in a ten gallon, five in a 55, etc. Do plant the tank heavily though, so they can hide from each other.
