I know Sara (Edwina's Secretary) is missing the snow this year since her move to CA, so I took these pics this morning for her. We had snow all day yesterday, but it was relatively light. Last night it came down heavier and this is what we woke up too.

Isn't it puuurrrty? :D Of course, I could have done without the 1 1/2 hour commute to work that it created, but it is pretty. :D

The chairs look sooo nice and soft and comfy.

That is soo pretty, but yet very cold. I complain about it when it is 30 degrees. I don't even want to know what degree that is. The pictures are so pretty though. Looks like a picture you seen in a book.

Actually it's not that cold. It was a warm wet snow, which is why it stuck to everything so much. Right now it's 28 in Chicago. Plenty warm for a nice winter wonderland walk. :D

Wow, isn't that wonderful!! I'd love to walk right into it! :)

We had a bit of snow around Christmas, but that seems to be it. It's about 5 ° here, which is 41 Fahrenheit- and it's windy. :(

I love it! This year we have a Californian winter. Temperatures in the 50s and lots of rain:D

I still hope for end January/February!

Here the traffic problems arise with the first inch of snow and the next day (and with a foot of snow) everyone is back to normal and everyone has put on the winter tires;)

Hold on Pops, the way the weather has been going around the world you might just see it one of these days.

Sara! How depressing looking is that?! :( I know you guys are getting a lot more rain than usual. I suppose that's good in one way, but not good in so many more ways.

The sun is shining here now so I know if I were at home it would be absolutely lovely with the sun shining on all the new white snow that is slowly melting off all the branches so the branches spring back up. Which is a good thing for the one poor bush in our front yard. The snow people insist on burying this poor bush every year. I suprised it still survives. It was totally flat this morning. I should have taken a picture of that and sent it to their suprevisor! But it usually springs right back as soon as the snow is off. I shook a lot of it off this morning, but the warm and the sun will help it a lot.

I'm so jealous too!!! Waaaaaaah!!! We just keep having unseasonably warm winters in the past few years here in TN. We did at least have a very cold snap and a few flurries the week before Christmas ... but this week has been near 70!

What beautiful pictures! How wonderful to look out and see that! I am so sick of the rain.

Poor Miss Edwina will soon need little red Wellington boots to go with her adorable rain hat. :D

Great pictures! :) We got six inches of snow here Wed. night. But it was the light and fluffy stuff. No good for making snowmen. :(

I love it!

We have the same weather in all Europe - too warm. I am still hoping. I see the weather is really playing tricks - in countries like Sweden, where it's supposed to be snow in the winter, there isn't and in warmer countries there is.

The would be my dream come true. ;) I really don't think I could 'live' in a very snowy region...as much as I love it, but I would LOVE to wake up one morning and have a backyard full of snow. Just one day. It would be the coolest thing!
