she is a chinchilla. i has just changed her cage the night before, they love to make a mess of everything!! so yea it is a mess, just the way she likes it!!

If you have a ferret, you know that their cages don't stay perfectly clean. RIGHT after I clean my boy's cage, they just go and make it allllll messy again. Play in the litter, their food, lets face it...they aren't Martha Stewert. ;)

Great pictures, thanks for sharing!

It's funny, Miss Hoppy is VERY particular about what goes where, but she's very neat about it. I just apparently do not properly place and distribute hay when I clean her cage/litterbox. She always needs to go in there and rearrange as soon as I'm done. But in her case, I'm the messy one, She "neatens up" - not the other way around!
