Dog Beach and Others(14)

I went to Kay's the day after Christmas so we could trade presents and such. So, on with the pics. I already had this first one resized and dated so it's out of order. It's of me, Kay and the dogs on the beach. A nice woman took it for us. I told Kay that it came out pretty good, considering the subject matter :p

Simba wanted Duke to play and he did for a bit. I was too lazy to do the eyes. I think this is cute.

I love this one of Simba! He likes to do circles through the kitchen. He had a stuffy in his mouth. After I took this pic, I got up and ran around and around chasing him until I got both tired and dizzy.

Simba loves to tear up paper. Here he is opening his present from me. It's got crinkly paper inside the stuffy. I thought he'd enjoy playing with it.

My two favorite guys. I took one without the flash but I must have moved because it's blurry. I'll attach it. I like it because you can see the tree a lot better.

I know, I know, I gripe about it not being cold with snow and all but really, the dog beach is so pleasant now. Although it's too cold for the water, it's perfect for enjoying being there without humidity and tons of sweating. Here's a cute Lab making friends with Duke

It had flooded there and we both got our shoes soaked on the way down to the beach. This sand got marbled by the water and I thought it was really pretty.

Such a cute dog! She's a Dalmation/Lab mix. She wouldn't get too friendly with Duke because her mouth was full of rocks that she loves. She was guarding them. She's 10 years old and was also a rescue.

Duke getting sleepy on the way home. This was a short visit so we didn't even stay overnight. Breaks my heart to see him getting tired a lot more quickly now. Can't bear to think of my life without him. I love him so much.

You know, that sand really looks like snow in the pics lol. So you can pretend it snowed in florida. ;) That's about what my yard looks like at the moment, it's all white with a thin layer of snow.

I too am jealous of it being so nice there (although I shouldn't complain, almost all our snow is melted and it's supposed to be in the high 40's today). Hopefully one day we'll be able to come down there and you can take us to the beach!
