Bennie was delivered, safe and sound, to Amber and her family, this afternoon in the parking lot of a Pet Store! :D What a great place to meet! Lilly, Bennie and I had an uneventful trip to Asheville and met Amber with no problem. Here are a few pictures. Amber's mom took more and I know she'll share them as soon as she is back on line.

Amber has a lovely family and I just know that Bennie is going to be very, very loved and cared for! :) Here he is in his "traveling" cage. He will get to see his new cage and home later next week.

Logan, I was on vacation for a few days when she called and left a message on my cell phone saying she got Bennie. I'll try to call her back tomorrow and ask for a Bennie update. :)

Whether he was with Aly or Amber, I knew Bennie was better off away from us. I have learned some harsh lessons about how birdie parents (i.e. Roger and Milly) treat their young, once they are older. :eek:

Bennie is doing great... He's SUCH a sweetheart. I'm waiting for the pictures of him to upload. :) Logan, you should have called! I was about to call you because i didn't think i could wait till i had computer access. :p
