Over the past few days we have noticed that Emily has become the surrogate mother for our kittens Lizzie and Robbie. She keeps a close eye on them. She is always ready to snuggle up with them. If one of them meows she seems to come running. Though Emily will never have any kittens of her own, she has found her calling. What a good "mother" she is...!

Aww, that's sweet :)

Now you better adopt a couple more babies to keep Emily happy, as Lizzie and Robbie are growing up so fast ;)

Awww sweet mama Emily! I agree, you'll need a few more soon for her to nurture, as Robbie & Lizzie are turning into cats so fast! :D :p

I was hoping Kylie would do that with Kloe but *sigh* to no avail!

Emily is such a good girl. I'm glad she is bonding with the kittens so well.

Jazz has been that way here, which I'm thankful because there isn't a motherly bone in Scout's body. All she does is smack at the kittens and Ripley runs away from them most the time.
