I'm thinking about ordering one? Are they as good as claimed? Seems very practical!

I use the Litter Locker and mostly like it. There are two things I don't care for. One is that the refills can be a little tough to find and are around $9 a pop. The other is that there's a little catch on the turny thing and when you let the baggy get to full it gets caught on the catch and rips.

Otherwise it's fine. No litterbox odors and it parks by the litterbox nicely. Just scoop, dump, and turn. The secret to making the refill last a good long while is to not do a full turn. :D

Thanks for the info :)

Here the refills cost Kr. 124 = $ 22  ...and I would have to order those online every time I needed a new roll. That's what's put me off from ordering it so far.

Don't they make something similar for poopie diapers (the tiny human kind). I think my cousin had one for her kids. I would think that they would probably have a greater capacity. They should be a little cheaper too because more people probably buy poopie diaper disposers than cat poop disposers. Let me know what you find out. I didn't even know they made them for cats, but its a great idea.

Yep, the Litter Locker works on the same principal as a Diaper Genie. The refill cartridges look almost exactly alike. I'm betting that the Litter Locker refills are a bit tougher than the Diaper Genie refills (not sure though, would have to examine my sis's Diaper Genie), because diapers aren't gravel-coated, won't rip the refill baggy, and they weigh less than pee biscuits.

I could not think of diaper genie to save my life. I knew there was some bizzare association with the name and Robin Williams, but I just couldn't put my finger on it.

I wish someone would try out the diaper genie refills and let us know - they are about $15.00 for a 3-pack instead of almost $10 for one, so you're looking at about half the price for refills (if they can take the kitty clumps).

I'm a little concerned about the strength of the bag too, because BooBoo always tinkles in one corner of the litter box, and he does it a lot, so by the end of the day (ok every other day most of the time) --- when I go to scoop there is a HUGE softball size damp clump in the corner instead of nice little scoopable clumps all around. Come to think of it, he doesn't cover his poop either. My cat has litterbox issues.
