This morning, Inka was not her usual self. Normally she is waiting behind the door of their room. Now, she was hiding in a corner. She joined me in bed then, but was not purring, just napping quietly... . She did NOT eat. Half an hour later she was vomiting, but only water came out. Now she is laying there on the floor all the time, and she doesn't want to be touched.... :(
I hope it's just today, as our vet isn't there on Sunday.

I would take Inka to an Emergency Vet thats open 24/7. Does your vet use this kind of service when their office is closed?

Poor Inka. :( I hope she'll feel better soon. Could it be something she ate? Let her sleep, and hopefully she'll be back to normal. :)

That is what we thought too. She had a fever too, but not really high (I think). She is sleeping in her cat-bed now. She is not interested in food, but maybe it is just an upset tummy, so a day without eating will do her good. Get better soon please, Inka, mommy is worried... .
I hope she is better by tomorrow morning, as my daughter is going to the hospital tomorrow at 9 am to get her tonsils removed.... .

Ps. No emergency room around here! The nearest clinic is half an hour away.

Oh dear, Inka - you get better, okay? Momma's got enough to worry about, and the girl will need extra cuddling, too!

Poor Inka.:( I hope she will come around with some rest.
It's always so hard to see them not acting like themselves. I
know Inka is in the very best of hands & hope she's feeling
better soon. Love ya Inky Pinkie. :)

GOOD NEWS !!! Inka ate her wet food, and now she is wandering around the livingroom. Is she looking for trouble already:confused:
No, just kidding, she is fine!

Here is a pic I took around lunchtime. She was pretty sick then!

Glad Inka seems to be *bouncing* back! :)

Keep a sharp eye on her -
be sure she's Drinking her usual amount of water;
and watch for any "accidents" outside the litter box.

A cat not drinking or having accidents outside the box may
indicate a urinary problem, which will require a FAST Trip
to the White Coat.

Fell Better SOON, Inka!

I'm glad that she's feeling better, too.

~~~ Healing vibes to both Ms. Inky-Pinky AND to your daughter. ~~~
Whew, an operation so close to Christmas doesn't sound like fun. (Was this so it didn't interfer with her class schedule?)
Warm wishes anyway....
Yes. She is 15 already and had exams untill today. So, by having the operation now, she will be back home in 2 days, in time to get better by Christmas!! Unfortunately, it is scheduled for 3.30 pm, so she has to wait very long hungry and thirsty
:(
Oh, Inka is back to normal today! I think she just ate something "unusual" ;) :rolleyes:
Lut, I'm so glad Inka is better! I do hope that your beautiful daughter (Indra, right?) will do fine with her surgery. I remember that Helen had lots of Jello and cold water. She was not interested in ice cream or milk shakes. Hugs to Inka and Indra. :)
