I was online late last night posting on the COTD thread and JanB who owns Queen Zeebee was online too and she posted a few photos of her cats in that thread.

I told her she had to come here to Cat General to meet everyone and she also had some questions about posting photos so maybe someone could post a link to Phred's famous thread here for her.

Hello JanB and welcome to Pet Talk! We want to see more photos of your beautiful cats. :D

Welcome Jan! This is the place. You can quit looking for just the right place now because you have found it here! I searched for about 5 years for a place like this and I can tell you, since I found PT, I don't search any more! THIS is the place! WELCOME! WELCOME! WELCOME! And a warm southern WELCOME TO YA'LL!"

[FONT=century gothic][COLOR=darkblue][SIZE=3]What a warm, warm welcome! Thank you each and every one! :-)

VermontCat told me this was the place to be and it certainly looks like it! I don't know how well I'll be able to keep up with everything, but I'll certainly come "hang around" now and again.

Zeebee got her name in a round about way... my late husband wanted to name the cat Zeebo - as we were still not very good at deciding if the kitten was a boy or a girl. I liked it - and called the kitten "Z!". First visit to the vet, however, is when we found out Z was a princess, not a prince :-) Should have known by the way she carried herself, but mind you we had several other cats around at the time :-) :-) Sid took over being her "parent" and taught her how to hunt, how to beg for food politely, where all the neat hiding places were. Rasputin (Pooda) was biffed there was a kitten around.

Sid and Pooda have both gone over the Rainbow Bridge. Another 2, Samson & Simon have both gone over the RB... All since Zeebee joined us in '85. I am leaving out the strays I fed and my mother in law's cats (she lived with us for a while).

My household now contains five cats.... Zeebee is the oldest at 19, Eunie (aka Fat Boy) is 16, Nagle is 14, Gizzer is 7 and Allie is 7. Eunie, Nagle & Allie belonged to my new husband when we married.

I guess the next thing I need to do is go check out that pictorial lesson :-) :-)
Thanks again!

Hi JanB and welcome to Pet Talk.

Your ZeeBee is one beautiful girl as are your other furkids.

I loved the picture of your 5 kitties on the bed that you posted in the COTD thread.

They are all adorable.

Looking forward to hearing more from you and especially seeing more pictures of your beauties.

I have mastered step ONE in the pictoral 101 lesson... I have an album on the website as recommended... I uploaded my kitty photos into it to share. Well, the ones that had been edited & were ready to go :)

Here it 'tis:
