Please bare with me people. I'm new to Pet of The Day and these are my rescued babies.

This is Kiwi my "Big Girl". She came to my home after being rescued by a shelter in Indiana that I had the pleasure of being involved with. She had been kept in a steel cage like shelters use for the first 7 years of her life. Her entire world was a view 2' x 2' . Sadly the lady that owned her didn't know any better. Kiwi was bored, neurotic and all but crazy, having pulled every bit of hair from tail. She's happy and fluffy now and sleeps on my bed every single night.

This is my oldest baby at 18 years old. His name is Pj. I adopted him from a shelter in Michigan several years ago. They used him as a pet therapy animal because of his special personality, but allowed him to "Retire" to my home since he was an "Older" cat at the shelter and the chances of him getting adopted were slim, Until I saw him. he's beginning to get a little stiff in the morning and his eyes aren't as sharp as they used to be, but he's my happy healthy "Old Man"

Bear with you?? :D This is what we do here:eek: ;) :D Post pictures, tell stories and adore each other's kitties!!

Kiwi is totally beautiful!! Omegosh!! How sad to hear her story but so worthwhile now that she has a wonderful and happy life furrever with you:D She really is gorgeous and BIG. Do you know how much she weighs? We have quite a few MC mixes on here. I think our Dylan has some in him as well - he has many of the physical and personality traits plus he is 20 pounds and growing -he is 2 1/2 years old.

Hope to see more of Kiwi and your others!!

I only have five and they are below.

Just saw PJ now - your "geriatric" and he is oh so gorgeous. He looks like our Magoo here:D

Welcome to PT! What beautiful fur babies you've got there. That is such a sad story about Kiwi and I'm so glad you were able to give her the freedom and love she deserves.
PJ is precious and he sounds like a wonderful boy.

I'm known as CCL for short and I'm completely owned and controlled by the twelve below.
I'm looking forward to hearing about and seeing lots more of your babies. :)

I had two maine coons when I was a child. I love them. So big and fluffy. They are so lovable too. Bobo loved hair. Sugarbear loved stuffed animals, especially my stuffed animal cat.

I won't "bare" with you as this is a family site and I don't think anyone here would want to see that :D So keeping my clothes on, I will post a pic of my Mishi:

Here he is under our Xmas "tree" The "tree" skirt is one I made years ago. I always put it around their scratching post; Mishi LOVES sleeping here.

Welcome to PT. Your furbabies are adorable. I think moon canes are very pretty cats. I have 3 persians. Wouldn't trade them for anything. All 3 three are sweet and loving.

Welcome! So glad they both have such a good home. They are so pretty. Here's my brother's cat who we think is also a Maine Coone. She was a stray that was picked up in Athens Tn and taken to MD.
