I was just cuddling with my "little old lady", and I decided to make a thread for posting pictures of your golden retrievers!! I know we've got lots out there! :D

I have a 7 year old [blind :(] Golden Retriver named Mackenzie. Nicknamed Kenz, Kenzie, Kenz-girl, and Old Lady. :D Here are some pictures of her. The reason her eyes are that color is because of her blindness.

Daisy at around 10/11 weeks (The first picture was taken the first day we brought her home, at 10 weeks, and the second picture was taken a few weeks after that):

I can not wait until I get my golden! I am getting the money for christmas and after I move in to my new house I am going to get him/her. All of these pics are just gorgeous:D It makes me so excited...I can't wait any longer...:D

I didn't know you were getting a Golden!

Are you going to a shelter/rescue for him or her? Or have you found a reputable breeder? Feel free to PM me if you need any advice or information when/if you need it! :)

yup, I am ...I never could have one before because of room and space but now my house is going to be on 12 acres of land and so this is my chance, since I was little I wanted one. No I'm not going to a shelter I am going to a reputable breeder and trust me I have done my research I mean alot of research..There is someone who lives kinda near which is a surprise because I didn't think I would find anyone around here anyways I am suppose to be going to meet her goldens the parents of the soon to be litter....I can't wait but it will still be awhile since I'm not moved in yet but I will take you up on your offer of PMing you if I need any advice or questions:D

If you think 7 is young for her to be blind, wait till you hear this... She turned blind at the age of one. :(:(:( We have NO CLUE how it happened. We think that maybe her parents were related somehow or something. :( :confused:

Poor girl. She is a beauty though! :)
