Well, after prodding by other people on the board, I would like to introduce Axel to everyone. He was born on Nov 19th, and had his first contact with a fuzzy on the 21st. (He's still trying to figure out what that big black thing is trying to do whenever Lady says hello to him):)

AHHHHH....it made me tear up to see little Axel...so small, so beautiful, so perfect. Was Jonah ever that small? Congrats! It brings back so many memories (like 3.5 months is enough time to even call them memories???).

Isn't it amazing? Whenever I see a newborn, it reminds me that babies grow soooooo fast that we forget they start out so small! And he wasn't even that "small" - almost 9 pounds, 21 inches long, but still, compared to how big he'll be at 1 month, 2 months - never mind 3.5 like that great big Jonah! ....

I will cherish these times, for the simple reason that if the son is anything like the dad was as a kid, I'm going to need help from a higher power as he grows up.......I'll have to force myself to look at these pics and remember that he WAS an angel at one point in his life.
