Add up all your YES answers to get your cat-itis
score!

8 or less: You have caught the bug, but are still
relatively sane. Just give it time.

9-16: You have a mild case of cat-itis. Seek no
medical treatment; there is no cure. Now is the time
to begin playing with cat toys and seeking new toys
around the house. Work on that meow, the tone is
slightly off.

17-26: Your condition is severe. Cats have a firm hold
on your life. This is the point where anything cat is
more interesting than people. Your purr may still need
work though.

27+: You are now an honorary cat, you may groom
yourself when and where you please. You have the purr
and meow down pat. It is not unusual to find yourself
thinking as a cat.

Sadly, as I have been severely allergic to kitties since age 12, I do not count as a cat addict. I love them, but must do so either from a distance, or through gloves or something else between my skin and theirs, and then I still have to wash my hands, just in case. But I do love them anyway! I currently have kitty nephews and a kitty niece, but do not live with any.

IT'S A YES TO ALL. There are 27 in house right now, there is a permanent 4 x 4 ft cage in the up stairs front room (living room)for new arrivals. As we socialize the ferules I try and find homes. In the last 10 years we have over 300 come thro. But I have my babies. Right now (since I lost Mits) Demetri, Egypt, Lucky, Shadow and Penny are my main ones. Mom has hers, Roz, Timmy, Chessie, and Peak. The problem we have is when the two biggest boys Timmy (27lb) and Phil (30lb)want too sleep with us.
But there is always 7-9 in the bed when we go to sleep. I wouldn’t have it any other way.
