We have kind of a morbid sense of humor around the house. We're always joking about stupid stuff and it's haunting us...

Today, my husband took Jaden (my 7 year old son) to get a haircut, and the lady said "So, what do you want for Christmas?" Jaden replied loudly "A sawed off shotgun."

He was expecting a laugh, but instead he silenced the room. My husband said he was so embarrassed.

I don't think I would have laughed if I heard a little boy say something like that...

Oh, I know! The only reason I'm able to laugh is because I know my son...he's got a huge heart and not a violent bone in his body...but for a stranger to hear that, they must think we're horrible parents!

Tonya...maybe you should buy some chewy granola bars;)
Boys that age are infatuated with guns and soldiers etc...nothing to worry about.

I just bet he's heard the expression but has no idea what it actually is!
They seem to do this around Christmas and Birthday time!!!

It COULD have been worse.....

What would have happened if he asked for a Donald Trump cut or

"I want my head shaved!"

   :D

ROTFLMAO! My mom just told me that paybacks are a bi$#%. She reminded me of something that I did. When I was 17, we were going to fly to Northern Canada. We were at an airport in Seattle and they were asking the usual questions like Did anyone ask you to bring anything on the plane...Do you have anything dangerous in your bag...etc... And I smiled and replied "Nothing but this bomb in my bag." Well, they didn't think it was to funny. My mom and I were put in a little room with some angry men and questioned. We missed our flight and got a huge lecture about how things like that aren't funny. This day and age, I would have spent some time in jail for that!
