I was just adding my Christmas sig and thinking about last year when I was so brave and took both dogs and both cats to see Santa  I had an advantage that it was at my shelter and I was able to go do it 20 minutes early before people arrived so I didn't have to stand in line. I am friends with the guy who was Santa and my dogs just love him. Reece never wants to get off his lap.

The cats had a horrid time though and I don't think I'll be doing that again   Skylar peed on himself! I felt so bad. He never leaves the house at all. He's just been to the vet for yearly shots and for his neuter. Other than that he only left home once (to stay with my best friend when I went to New Mexico to visit Zippiekat!). He really hates leaving home because he's so shy around new things. Poor little guy!

Has anyone else had a Santa experience with cats? (my dogs go every year and love it. I felt guilty that the cats never went so that is why I took them last year. I should have known better!)

I am taking Gracie to Petsmart this weekend to have her pic made but she is of the canine variety and not a feline..lol

I'm taking Duke on the 7th and was debating if I should take Doogie, too. Don't know how he would feel about seeing Santa.

Ten points to who can guess who played Santa!

Hey! That Santa looks familiar! ;) :D I know who it is because I remember from last year, so I won't spill the beans for everybody. :D

I saw a poster that PetSmart was having a Santa and I thought about taking T & P, but then Tubby got sick. Maybe I'll check it out and see if one of the other stores is having one yet. I think Tubby would love it, but I'm sure Peanut would much rather just stay home. ;) :D

I didn't know anything about that Santa but by looking closely I saw why Allen and Pouncer were so quiet- because they recognize a world class cat cuddler if they see one:D :D :D

I took Cassy and his brother Sassy to see "Santa Paws" when they were 5 months old kittens. Sometime later I was worried to see that Santa seemed to be keeping my darlings on his knees by throttling them... I wonder whatever happened to that photo???

That would be simply IMPOSSIBLE with both my cats!! Maya would be sooooo scared and run run run.....! And Inka would take care of Santa's long white beard   ;) :)

Pichu would probably lick his beard until it looked pitiful :D

I've never taken any animal to see Santa, however I have seen the "Christmas Miracle" several times. What's that you ask ? Well on Christmas eve, at the stroke of midnight, all the "Pets" around the world bend down on their knees and speak in human voices, giving thanks for the wonderful love that their "Humans" have given them throughout the year.
Happy Holidays to everyone who's opened up their homes and hearts to the small creatures that God, in his infinite wisdom has put in our charge..
Peace to you all..... Tim, Pj, Kiwi, Gizmo, Bandit, Mongo, James, Whiskers, Ming & Sammy :-)

Nope.

I would NEVER take Squeekers, she would totally freak out. I'd like to try taking Misty though. She doesn't mind travelling and loves everyone, I don't think she would mind. :)
