Gracie is home!!!! With pictures

We went and got Gracie last night. All the way home she had her head on my lap or her paw. She loves to run in the backyard and eat the snow.

Gracie has met Cubby. Cubby is now on top of the cupboards watching over everything.

See that's the odd thing. She shows no signs of abuse. She isn't afraid of anyone, she isn't mean or shy. She is very bold, energetic, vocal, nosey, and so full of life. All she wants is to be petted and played with, and of course fed. ;)

That's the amazing thing about dogs, Cubby. No matter what horrors and abuse they have endured, they still want nothing more than to love and be loved:) sniff...sniff.

OMG, she's beautiful!!! Maybe she knows she's safe to be herself with you and that's why she is so loving!?! Dogs are really smart that way.

oh my gosh! :eek: that is horrible! those people will get what they deserve, thank gawd Gracie was rescued and is now in such a loving home... Just a little update. Gracie got in trouble last night. There are dogs on the other side of our fence, she tried to jump over the fence but she didn't get a good enough head start. Thank god by the way. We are now working with her to teach her that jump on or near the fence is not allowed. We don't mind if she wants to play around them but to be jumping on them isn't good. Oh and by the way he nose reached the top of the fence and so I'm sure she could clear it.

Cubby has been trying to come out of the bedroom to see her. He gets a little bit closer every time then she runs after him to play and he runs back under the bed. :o

She loves to play. She brings her toys to us and she wants to play tug a war. She nipped my finger last night while she was trying to get her grip again I said ouch in a little bit higher of a voice, she stopped what she was doing looked and me and gave me kisses.

She is very much loved here. My mom keeps calling to ask how her newest grand child is doing. :D

I just wanted to add my congratulations! She is beautiful!! :D Thank you for adopting her, her last owners did not deserve such a stunning girl. Hog tied her...*shakes her head* :mad: What a "wonderful" world we live in... At least now she will be loved, taken care of, well fed, kept warm and be able to enjoy life.
