Gary (Catmandu) was wonderful enough to send some of the infamous Canadian Catnip micies down to Tubby last week. When I took these pics, Tubby was just starting to perk up (I think it was last Friday or Saturday when we got the package). He's usually not interested in catnip balls and such, but these definitely caught his attention. Here are a few pics of Tubby enjoying. In no particular order....

And amazingly enough, I only got one picture of Peanut. She went absolutely NUTS over these things! She was batting the purple one all over the place. I brought it upstairs for her and she ended up batting it through the rails of the loft, and she was so excited I thought she was going to go right through the rails after it! Thank goodness she stopped in time for me to pull her away from the edge. Way to give meowmy a heart attack sweety! But alas, no pics of that.

Thank you so much Gary! They just love the little toys - especially Peanut who is going goofy with one right now. :D

Gary must have sent so many of those infamous Canadian catnip toys out! Serious party stuff, and glad to see T&P enjoying theirs so much. :D :D :D Love how you had to put a little arrow next to where Peanut was so tightly gripping hers LOL!

Glad to know that Tubby is perking up. Gary is such a sweetheart to share those famous mice with so many of his friends, too:D We have also been the lucky recipients and those mice are still favorites at this house. Keep feeling better Tubby!!

Look at handsome Tubby. I'm so glad he is feeling better and what better way to celebrate than with Gary's famous catnip mice.

Please give Tubby a big smooch and hug for me.

I'm so glad Tubby is a bit perked up now.I know my black 16 year old BooBoo doesn't like toys to much and that looks like him when he gets Gary's powerful catnip nitted toy.He accually perkes up the same way.But all the other cats in the house go totally nuts over them. And I mean..they go crazy.
Powerful catnip in Canada.;)

I know. :( He really looked pitiful for a few days. I got some videos of how he was just barely able to walk around that I was going to show you guys, but they're way to sad to post now that he's so much better.

I think I mentioned that now I only have to give him the sub-q fluids every other day. Well, today was the day and he was not a happy camper about it at all! He almost jumped off the table twice before I could get the needle it, complained while I was putting the needle in (ouchie!) and was restless and wanted to get down the whole time. It's like he was telling me "I don't need this stuff anymore mom. Leave me alone!" I, of course, didn't fall for it and made him stay, but he did get a nice plate of treats afterwards for being such a good boy. :D

Ok--I gotta know. What makes Canadian Catnip so much better?? Does Gary make the toys and the love makes it better, or is the catnip itself special?

If these can be ordered I'd love some for my fat BooBoo.

How'd I miss this thread beofre? Oh Tubby... I'm glad to see you are perking up! Peanut... you'd better cut back on your catnip consumption. Do we need to check you into the nip clinic?
