This Christmas, I wanted to buy the babies a new cat bed, but am looking for something that's unique. I'm completely in love with the igloo cat beds from this website but they do not ship to the US :( http://www.customcatstuff.com/igloos.htm

I already have a cat tent and some regular cat beds, but does anyone know of any websites where I can purchase something unusual? Pictures, maybe? I would prefer nothing that costs more than $50-100. Thanks!

There are quite a few Canadians here at PT. Maybe you can give one the money and they can order it for you, then ship it to you. Those are really cute! I'll bet the cats love them.

I love those beds too! I wonder if we got together and contacted them if they would make an exception?

They are so cute!!!

I've contacted the woman who makes these beds and she said that at this time, she will be unable to ship them out. I would be more than happy to pay for one to be shipped to someone living in Canada if they would not mind then shipping it to my home in Alabama. If anyone could help me out, could you please send me a PM? Thanks.

Hi,
I don't know if you saw the post made about the cat beds my mom is making or not. It was made last week. I am taking orders for the beds she is making. You said you had a tent . She also makes the house whihc I noticed was on that website and the third one she is making is the fish bed. I don't know how big your cats are but the fish would only be good for smaller cats about 10 lbs and under I think. After her craft show I am trying to talk her into trying to make the fish pattern larger so bigger cats can fit. Just this week I bought the pattern off ebay for the igloo bed that you love. I was going to see if my mom could make that one too. I live in Ky so I could ship to you. In fact I have gotten a few orders from out of the country. I will try and attach a pic of the fish bed for you to see if you haven't already.

Doolittleky, I will be interested after the holidays. I need an igloo for a huge kitty. I think he weighs about 25 pounds and he's very long. Probably in January is when I'd be able to purchase one. So glad your mom makes them!

Doolittleky,
I love the large igloo from the site. None of my cats are under 10 lbs  (they are all a bit um...fluffy). Someone from Canada has offered to purchase the bed for me, but am curious as to how much your mother would charge for an igloo that size? It would be much more convient to have it shipped from Kentucky and a whole lot cheaper too. Just let me know! Thanks!

PS The fish bed is absolutely adorable!

OMG! I just love this!!! I would LOVE to get one of these for my kitties, so do let me know if your mom starts making them for larger cats and how much they cost. All 3 of my boys are pretty large (over 13lbs each). :D

To all that want the igloo cat bed. I haven't had the chance to show the pattern to my mom yet. I jsut got it the other day. Right now she is making the three other style beds for the craft show she has signed up for on Thursday. I am hoping she will be willing to make that bed too, because I think it is a cool one too. I will have to ask her though. She would have no idea how much she would charge until she actually made one. and saw how much supplies and time it took to make. I know it takes her a week to make a fish bed and a house bed. The fish is very hard to make and she doesn't like to make it but is doing it anyway. I will have to let anyone interested in the igloo bed know after I ask her. I would say she probably will make it if she has orders for it. Thanks.

You can try www.barkerandmeowsky.com for some nice plush "Buddhabag".

They look soooo comfy that I'd like to crawl inside one. But at $45 U.S., it's a bit much for this Canuck.

I don't know if you are interested, but I am thinking of ordering one of these for my guy for Christmas. Probabably one for the dog too! They are too cute!
