The Light Bulbs on the main page

Light Bulbs-- I have a question. Why is some light bulbs on the main board. Like where it says Pet General, Dog General, Today's Pet. Some are off and some are on. Does anyone know why? I was just wondering!

When the light bulbs are on, that means there are new posts in that forum since your last visit. :)

it says on the bottom of the main page of pet talk;) :p

on means new posts,off means no new posts

Off=no new posts

ohh okay! Well I just noticed that today and I was wondering what it meant. I didn't even notice it saying it at the bottom!
