I thought it would be fun to 'hear' what everyone sounds like. Anyone with a mic or a digital camera with sound should be able to record and post their voice. Just say *Hi PT* or whatever you want to say, if you wish to share your voice with everyone on PT. ;)

I'm not sure if I want to post my voice on the board, but if anyone else feels comfortable with it, let's hear you. :D

Well, I just picked up my headphones/mic to record something... only to find the cord had been chewed in half :eek: :eek: Grrrrr! I might try to see if I can find my backup headphones and mic, but I'm not sure if I will be able to :(

This is a good thread! I love hearing different accents. I can't listen to it right now though because Mike has some music playing. I'll try to remember and record my voice tomorrow, but I'll probably sound fake. I don't see myself being able to record my normal voice. lol. I'll probably be all cheesy sounding.

It is pretty hard to sound normal on the mic for me too :o

If you have Windows XP, click on Start, then on All Programs, then on Accessories, then on Entertainment, and then on Sound Recorder. Record your voice, save it, and then post it as an attachment.

I'm sure you can. I just don't remember how to get to 'Sound Recorder' with Windows ME, but I know it has a recording program. Why don't you go on 'search' and search for 'Sound Recorder'. You might find it....it should be there, somewhere. Then you can record your voice and share it with us. :D

Val, you do have an accent....very neat one too. :D I've never met anyone from Tennessee, so I didn't 'recognize' the accent. That's why I asked what state you originate from. :p

I've talked to Micki on the phone a few times, and she does have an accent, but it's not entirely strong. She's still a Dixie Chick to me. ;) I make fun of her when she says "y'all." LOL.

Still hoping you can record your voice, if you go to programs, accessories and then entertainment, you should have sound recorder, that is the easiest way, depending on what you have installed of course , I know XP and ME have it.
