I got a few pics of bathtime zoomies recently - anyone know why dogs go nuts after being bathed? My cat certainly doesn't act anywhere near the same way!!!

Duke runs around like crazy after a bath. I have to be quick if I want to get him on video, though.

Some of our dogs, did that, I think they were just overjoyed to be freeeeee of that awful bath-stuff! Maybe running around like a mad dog helps one dry off?

Miss Hoppy reacts the exact opposite way, she's my bunny. She spends literally hours grooming herself after we thoughtlessly muss up every single one of her hairs and get the *gasp* wet!

Holly gets spastic after a bath, too. I keep the bathroom door shut when she gets out of the tub, that way, I can towel dry her off a little bit before she takes off and zooms around the house!:)

LOL, love that picture!

Disney loves to run free and wild after baths too.

Haha Our two boyz go spastic after bathtime too. Last bathtime, I made the mistake of letting Emerson outside right aftwards, and he started rolling in the grass and dirt. Guess he wanted to smell like himself again. :)

I think that is just part of the whole ritual of bath time..Gracie flies like a bat out of Hades after a bath..

How Cute!!!

Mine don't gets baths to often (unless they get stinky)
But Sierra doesn't really get the zoomies... she just rubs herself on the couch to dry faster:o
