Online or the store

How do you do most of your holiday shopping?

I do about 85% of mine online so I can avoid traffic and the crowds. (I'm not a patient person at all!) The rest I do in the malls or other stores. I figure that I have to brave the crowds at least one day a year or it won't seem like the holidays. :D

About 50/50.

If I know exactly where in the store the item I want is, I'll go to the store. If I don't know and can get it fairly easily online, then I'll go online.

For example, Swarovski crystal piece for MIL: I know where the store in and what I want, so I went to the store.

Hubby's music selections: I had no idea where in the store or even what store, so I went to Amazon.com.

We go to the store. We have bought a few things online but I'd rather just go to the store.:)

Oh no, I hit the wrong thing and submitted it before I could change it! I hit "I don't shop for the holidays" which is untrue and I meant to hit "Both"! D'oh! Could someone change that for me?

At any rate, if I find something online that I like, I'll get it. If I'm at the store and see something I like, I'll get it. Back in 2000 or 2001 I was doing ALL online but I missed going out and being part of the craziness so it's a combination of both now.

I buy all mine at the store. Sometimes if you buy something online it doesn't look as good as you thought. So if you buy it at the store you know exactly what it looks like or how it works.

I have only recently purchased online, first time ever, but because I could send a cheque and it was a NZ site with shops in Auckland I felt ok with it, and it was really great, fast ,efficent service and it meant I could get something from USA that was unavailable here or in Australia, but normally I prefer in the shops, I like to see the product before I buy it.

I shop both but I think that the majority of my shopping is online.
