Today, Zipper and I attended the Foothills Golden Retriever Rescue annual picnic. They gave out awards for various things, like "tallest", "shortest", "most active tail", "Grayest", and many, many more. The last award was for the widest back........guess who won!!! :o Poor fella. I told him that was not a good thing to be remembered for!!! But he did get a new squeaky toy and a bone, so it was worthwhile, and the lady who was giving the gifts said that as long as he is loved, that's all that matters, and Lord knows, that boy is LOVED!!!!!! :D

Yaaay, Zipper!! You are a beautiful boy, and it's so obvious how much you are loved. Looks like you all had a good time. :)

Widest back? Hmm. many eons ago I seem to remember that I also won..Oh! Never Mind! This is all about YOU Zippity Doo Da Boy! Congratulations on your award and rewards!
