I finally had a chance last night to download some pictures from my 2nd digital and wanted to share them with everyone.

G&G had their first vet visit on Tuesday. They were so good. Not a peep out of them the entire time in their carrier. Once we got into the exam room the vet took Gabe out first and kept Gracie in the carrier....welll she became very vocal, so I took her out and held her so she knew what was going on. When it was Gracie's turn for her exam I put Gabe in the carrier...well that was a mistake. He screamed louder than Gracie....so out he came.

Gracie is 3.6 lbs and Gabe is 3.8.

Everyone is doing fine in the house. We have a few hisses and spits and the occasional swat but other than that everybody co-exists nicely.

As you will be able to see from the pictures G&G do just fine...you would never know that Gabe can only see shadow's and that Gracie can see only out of one of her eyes.

Here we are spilling all the toys.

Sorry I don't have very good ones of Gracie's or Gabe's face but the flash really bothers their eyes so I try to take as many pictures without the flash as possible.

What sweeties! I love the picture asking for more turkey. Holding your foot down so you can't get away!

"Give me turkey and the toes won't get hurt!"

Too cute! You're right though. You'd never know they have trouble seeing.

You are sweet for saving them.

Great pictures. They look like they are very comfortable and made themselves at home already. How's it going with the other kitties?

How old are they now?

Lori, if I remember Jan telling me correctly they are probally around 4 months now. I gave them an official birthday of 7-11-04. Mark has totally fallen head over heels for the two of them...of course I have too. They are both purr babies....they don't stop purring. :D

Thanks Meg. I was wondering their age (or estimated age) because I'm taking R&R to the vet today for their last kitty shots and I'm curious as to how they compare in weight. Kim guessed their birthdate to be around Aug. 1st.

Thanks Meg! I've been pining for those babies all week long, but will be satisfied now that there's pictures! I adore the picture of Gabe begging for more turkey!I see you're getting right into spoiling them fast huh? ;) :D I'm so happy you and Mark adore the babies as much as I have. They look like they're having a wonderful life with every toy a kitten's heart could desire lol! Have the monkeys done any trapeze work on the curtains yet? Give them some extra treats for me...and plenty of kisses too! ;)

OMG! This must have gotten buried before I saw it. I would have just croaked if I missed a G&G thread with pictures!!
Look at those two! No wonder Jan always called them monkey's! They are into everything. Aren't they just the most adorable babies?
Meg, do you remember the conversation you and I had about all the things you were going to do around the house to protect them? It all went out the window five minutes after they got there didn't it?;) :D
I swear we have so much to learn from these critters about disabilities. Just ask G&G and I bet they tell you life is all about fun and nothing else matters.
Give them some hugs and kisses from me and a great big sloppy kiss from Magoo!:D

They are real little monkeys.:D

And that they don't range their toys is not due to disability- mine never did that too:p ;)

(Well maybe tomorrow). ;) I think we should start whining on Sunday evenings, so we can have pics and updates on Mondays! Like Magoo has Saturdays, G&G will have Mon. Maybe Tues if Meg's very busy at work LOL! Gee I miss those monkeys. :(
