My friend just got a new dog--a female, German Shepard/Border Collie mix apparently. Do you guys have any ideas? My friend is open to any "movie" names too...;) What does this pretty pup look like to you? (I'm just attaching since I don't have time to *post* pics...);)

She looks like a Tara, but I like the name Dapsy - shortened version of dapple as in the way her paws her. I also like Spadge.

Cinnamon! Her speckled legs look like cinnamon toast (can you tell I'm on a diet? Everything reminds me of food) They could call her Cinny for short. I also like the earlier suggestion of freckles, that's cute, too. :)

She looks like a cosmo or comet to me. i know those are kind of boyish, but, she doesn't look like an ultra girlie dog. she's gorgeous, though. :)

My brother came up with Dani (and, that's actually my niece's nickname, her name's Danielle). I think it sounds good! But, something tomboyish seems good for her. :) I also knew a dog named Bluefoot, and, that came to mind. :) Blue would be cool. Shiloh or Shayla would be nice. Even Finn! Ha ha, there'd be two Finn's then! That's all we can think of right now.

How about Scarlett, as in O'Hara? That's a movie name and she is just beautiful, like Scarlett herself. :D
