Wow! That sounds AWFUL!! Do you think these cats with the extra toes are Himmies...(Himmimgways?) (is that the right spelling for his name, I think I killed the spelling!)

Lets hope someone here either lives there or knows someone who does.

SOMEBODY?????

Thanks for posting this jan- I believe we have a few pter's in Kentucky but not sure if they are in that area. It seems that only numerous phone calls may cause an investigation (wish I could call and lie and say I live in kentucky!) Doesn't Magoo's mom live in Kentucky?

Laura the cats with extra toes are polydactyls aka Hemingway cats (after the author Ernest Hemingway). It does sound like something that should be looked into. Sick that the babies are taken and drowned like garbage.

I live in KY but I'm almost 5 hours away from Edmonton. It's down near Tennessee & I'm up towards Ohio.

I copied all the info and sent it to my shelter. I hope they can contact somebody to check this out. Its way far from me so I'm not sure what else to do. I will see if I can find any kind of shelter in that area and try to contact them too.
I hope this isn't a load of lies, but then again I hope it is!

Thanks Lisa! At the very least someone should remove the caged cats, and if returned they should be altered first. I'm sure it never ends in farm country though. :( Let me know if you hear anything! ;)

I'm sure we don't want to know what goes on in some places!
I'll keep you posted if I hear anything back from the shelter.

Thanks you kentucky gals! I actually got this info from an email via one of those transport groups I signed up for when I was trying to get lucky and Louie up here in MA (flying them up now).
In the meantime, Jan also has gotten it from her connections with other websites! although this message is flying around, there is still a need to styop these people! We don't know these people who originally started the post but feel if we can help, we should! Thanks guys! (And yeah, it's ick and yeah, in a way, who wants to know, but...)
