Well all went pretty much as planned yesterday, though I'm not used to long highway drives, we made it safe and sound! Gabriel and Gracie got right down to important business like exploring their new forever home! Thanks so much Meg & Mark for opening your hearts and home to these special little kittens! :)

A snack after all that fun! Poor Gabriel, when I was leaving I called "MONKEYS" and he came flying into the kitchen and cracked right into my shin! Poor baby boy was a bit dazed. Give them lots and lots of loving Meg! :D

Ok, now I'm bawling like a baby! These are some of the most wonderful pictures I think I have ever seen! Those babies felt right at home immediately didn't they? Exploring like they owned the place (which by today they will!)
I know it had to be hard to give them up Jan but this picture says it all.

Wow! I am speechless!! Hang on while I catch my wits!............................................. .................................................. .. .................................................. .................................................. .... .................................................. .................................................. .... .................................................. .................................................. .... .
OK Got them........ Well, I expected pictures and I would love to say a BIG THANK YOU for so many!!

The do look like they settled right in there, don't they? They are going to be so happy and well taken care of there. They already like their new Mommie, bed and toys so these little tykes will be some spoiled pampered little "monkeys". Gee, I am as thrilled as if I had got them myself... Isn't this just SO exciting??? Meg, you are so lucky to have got these two!! I can't wait till I get back from work to see all the pictures you have taken of them setteling in and growing... By the way, that picture of them by the food bowl make them look a lot bigger than I had expected.. Are they as big as that picture makes them look??

QSL, I know your heart had to break to turn them over but bust at the seams with pride that you gave these two sweethearts a chance and they are going to have a happy, wonderful life!! That is what it is all about, isn't it, giving them a chance!

Jan, I know it was hard to let go, but looks like they got a very loving home and a very loving mommy too. I love those cute little baby collars. They looks so sweet on the babies.

All I can say is Meg, you are so lucky to have those two little sweeties, and they are lucky to have you too.

Jan, you are the greatest, but then you know that already!

Willie:)

I keep coming back to peek, and smile too! I made the baby collars so the kittens could be told apart from the back. Gracie has a tabby patch on her hind left foot, but otherwise unless you look at their faces, it's near impossible to tell one from the other. I do miss the babies terribly, but know they couldn't have found a better home! They have the most endearing purrsonalities and I can't say which one's more affectionate. They are just two of the dearest babies. I think all the time...what if I hadn't found them. :( They (and their mom & siblings who have been adopted) really fell into a tub of butter! :D

Meg has a wonderful home full of cat delights! Gabriel and Gracie had so much "work" to do! Meg's cats were kind enough to hide for the time being (so to speak- poor babes were upset but Meg assures us they WILL adjust!). Smokey held his ground at the front door to sun himself and gave the obligatory spit when needed as they sped by, stopped per chance, just to keep on movin after being spit on... Yes, Fast learners they are! Keep going if a cat spits on you!!!!
It was a wonderful time and I wish there were a world of Meg and Mark's to adopt strays!!!
Meg, let us know if they ever discover the joy of sleeping in your hair at night! I know that once they figure that out, you won't get a moment's rest!
