Judging by the name, I'm guessing you mean a mix between a Bichon Frise and a Havanese. I'm going to stop you right here. Exactly WHY do you want this mix? Do they possess a certain quality that NO other breed out there does? If you're looking for a dog that does not shed, PLEEEASE consider a mix in the shelter that sheds little or a purebred from a responsible breeder. More often than not, you will not find a good Designer Mix breeder because they're in it for the money and not the good of the breed/dog. Just consider this.

No, Bichon Havanese is not a mix, it is a little-known pure bred.

I think Bichon Havanese is the proper name for the breed Havanese. I saw one once, they're very cute.

But if you want a dog, I strongly suggest looking for an adorable dog at the pound first! They need your help. Please consider saving a life.

Havanese are just listed as Havanese with the AKC, so not sure about it being the proper name for them or not.

AKC Havanese Standard (http://www.akc.org/breeds/recbreeds/havanese.cfm)

Here is the Havanese Club of America's home page.

I'm not sure where you are located, are you in England? Or was that just a mistake in your post?
