He's settling in well. Purred almost immediately - whether because of the pain, or just glad to be back in a relatively familiar place. More updates to follow.

These pictures are absolutely fantastic!!! I think Kurby is going to be a love muffin in a very short amount of time. He looks really good for all he's been through.

Kurby is doing very well this morning. He can use the hip, but very carefully. He ate his special treat this morning and purred for Kevin. He keeps hanging out in the bathtub for some reason, maybe it's cool on him?

Kurby says if anyone ever comes to AZ to please stop by and visit with him. His "new" owners have plenty of room for guests and lots of cats to love! His "new" home is open and welcomes anyone!

We will post more pictures this weekend!:)

Actually Kurby's been a feral in the park since he was a kitten. He was just becoming a little more friendly than most of the others. His behavior was partly due to pain and fear I'm sure, but he also is feral. We will not put him back in the park due to nature of his surgery. If we find someone that will give Kurby a very good indoor home, be patient enough until he's tame, then we would consider adopting him out. Until then he'll be with us!:)

This really turned out great for Kurby.Lucky Kurby for having such good parents and support from us and great vet work.
He really is lucky.Now for the hard part.Taming him.:D

I think all cats are only nasty because of pain pain pain from living on the streets with sicknessess.And struggling through weathers and food and thirst.He should be fine in a couple months or sooner.(when he knows the pain is gone for good and knows he has a place where food is plenty,and nice shelter.I don't think any cat wouldn't come around after all that fixing up.ALL cats are nice inside..I beleive.;)
