Last night, my grandson came over to visit while his Mom & Dad went out to eat. I was showing him some stuff on the computer so he got on his knees on the floor. Amy crawled out of her kennel bed and came plopped down like you see here in his legs. She stayed there until he got up.

Now, keep in mind, this is the cat that has never liked to be held or petted, never a lap cat and didn't like anyone to touch her. This time I am home it is like she is a totally different girl, rubs on everyones legs that comes in, begs to be held, gets in my lap...this is the first time she has had ANY contact with HIM, since she never wanted to be touched before... We thought this was just the sweetiest thing..

Too cute Laura! She's sucking up heat where ever she can find it huh? Give that sweet kitty a kiss for me (and Kirby) :D ;) :)

How long did he kneel like that? I can't imagine it was comfortable for long (but then again I'm not young like he is! :D ) Amy, you are just full of surprises, aren't you?

That's so sweet. I agree that it looks very uncomfortable. If I sat like that, I wouldn't be able to move.

Awwww....that is so sweet! I bet he stayed there for long after he was ready to get up, just so he wouldn't disturb her. :D

That is so true. It took over two years for our Jessie Girl to come out of her (tortie) shell and finally jump up on my lap.

I am not sure how long he sat like that, we were "playing" on the computer.. He stayed while I got the camera and took the pictures and she never moved. All she would do was snuggle in more and deeper.

Thank you catnapper, I think so too.. My grandson is a cat lover like the rest of the family. His heart broke last night when he saw Amy keep falling over like she does. He does have a special touch with animals, always has!

Your grandson makes a wonderful bed for Amy. She looks so very, very comfortable.

Oh Gosh, that is so adorable. Now precious Amy will know what she has been missing all these years. The comfort from a loved ones lap, or in the case of your grandson, legs.:)

Those pictures are priceless.
