Awwww! It would be so hard to give them up!

Look how they have grown and how healthy and happy they look! Two little dahlins! (Cajun for darlings) I was wanting to see pictures of them SO bad but would not ask, didn't want to get the reputation of a whinner like some people have.. I just droped hints.

Awww!! Meg, you are going to have such fun with these two in the house! I know you have to be SO excited. I saw the post with the things you got for them when they come to their furever home and I can't wait to see pictures of them all settled in those beds and playing with the toys.. This is SO exciting!

OMG!!!!! With the exception of Gracie and Gabe having white noses....I would swear I was looking at Tigger and Tony when they were babies. I wish I had some of Tigger and Tony's baby pictures in the computer so everyone could see just what I mean.

Jan thank you, thank you, thank you for posting these pictures. I now have to go home this afternoon and protect the house plants from those monkeys. Boy they are certainly going to have fun at my house. Wait until you see all of the "play sets" that I have in the house.....they are going to go crazy. :) :) :) :)

I can see that the remainder of my day is going to be spent coming back to this post and going through all the pictures. :) :)

Meg, you are so lucky to be getting those two! They are both beautiful cats (though I'm sure Gabriel would prefer to be called handsome ;) )

:D :D :D Good luck protecting your plants Meg! I'm at my wits end trying to save the "hens and chicks"(plants) surrounding my tree, but they dig them up so easily, and then cart them around in their mouths! Too funny. :D Be prepared to fall head over heels in love fast! ;)

Jan, maybe before closing this post completly, you could end it with some infant pics of the 2 babies. At that time they were thought to be completely blind and the vet asked you "why not just put them down?" right? Turns out they get along just fine, see shadows and love life!!! ****! the vet! Maybe you should bring pics to the vet to show how wrong he/she was. In fact, I definately think you should. In the name of magoo, and all blind cats out there! no more automatic euthanasia!!!
Good job!

Miranda_Rae, Gracie and Gabe have an eye condition, they are able to see some shadows and that's about it. I am adopting these two babies from QueenScoopalot (Jan). Saturday is supposed to be the "Big Day"

I'm not sure. I have an initial consultation with an eye specialist on December 8 to see what can be done.

Awwww! Their baby pictures!! Look how far they have come since then and what little doll babies they have become! Just to cute for words! Uncle Magoo would be PROUD!

If those two can carry on with the lessons Magoo has taught us, these two will help other handicapped kitties and save many!

LOL Meg!! Already plenty of baby pictures that you stashed aside. ;) Both the kittens have deformed eyelids, and Gabriel has a condition called "macropthalmia", and Gracie has the opposite problem. She seems to have quite a bit of clarity in one eye, but the other is pretty ulcerated. I think they have quite a bit more vision than I thought, as they don't miss anything! Gabe gets very nervous when he's held, about being put back down on the floor. The claws come out, and he has to feel the floor before he stops feeling nervous. He's such a loving little guy, and so is Gracie, but she's always got something to do...and Gabe's always right behind her doing as well! :D They are such doll babies! :)

These pictures are better than adorable. Those two are so sweet and cute. It's Saturday so today is the big day!! They are going to thier new home with Meg!!! I can't wait for all the great stories of how madly in love she is with them and hopefully lots of pictures!!!
You know Magoo can't stand to be held or carried. It is the most dissorienting thing I can do to him. I always make sure that if I have to pick him for any reason I always set him down next to piece of furniture of something he can recognize immediately to help him reorient himself.

Big kissies to the sweet babies!!

It's funny...in this picture, it's hard to tell the babies apart!

As they've grown though, Gabriel's eyes have become so much smaller. It really kind of gives him such a cute appearance though! Yup..the big day's arrived and the kittens are having one last tear through the place LOL! There goes another houseplant! :D
