Drastic Haircut! *pics*

I've been thinking of cutting my hair for a while now. I was afraid to do it because of traumatic childhood experiences involving short hair - specifically, constantly being mistaken for a boy! :( But I got my hair chopped today and I'm so glad I did! My head feels so much lighter and my morning routine will be much easier now. I was starting to get headaches from wearing my hair tied back all the time. Besides who wants to spend half their morning with a blow dryer in their hand? Not me! :p

I'd like to get my hair cut and/or colored soon...though I wouldn't take more than an inch off, I'm too chicken to get short hair. :o Actually at the moment my hair is relatively short compared to how long it has been in the past. Oh and just for the record, you can have long hair and not spend half the morning blow drying...I almost never blow dry my hair. That's probably why it always looks awful.

NICE! I just got my hair cut a few days ago as well. It was not as long as yours, but now it's about the same length. I'm used to having it short so it was time to cut it again. It looks very good! :D

Very nice. I just got a ton of hair cut off too. I was tired of it having no style to it, i just wore it back in a pony tail all of the time...now it has style...it is similiar to your style now...and was very long before...

I think i look older with short hair, and so do you. Everyone mistakes me for a 17-18 year old with short hair, but i am 27!! :)

I love it, Kate! I cut mine off a while back and I love it! It only takes a few minutes to dry. I have naturally curly/wavy hair, so not blowing it dry is not an option for me.

OMG! Your new 'do looks great!! :D Even I got mine cut a few weeks ago. It's so expensive whenever I go to my hair stylist because I usally end up spending well over $120...just for a haircut and color! Yikes! Needless to say I go like once every 6 months! :o LOL
