anyone have any idea on what's going on??I know that theres that strike and all the stuff.
i was talking about it with my dad and he has no idea what's going on with this whole deal/

It's a work stoppage.

The owners have locked out the players.

The NHL players union want the owners to cough up more money, while the owners claim that they are losing money on the teams.

It's a nasty strike...

Look in your area for some minor league teams....

They are everywhere. I just found a team about 15 miles away from my house.......Tickets are 5 dollars and the drive seems to be very reasonable-Most of those guys play for the love of the game, so if you or your dad decide to go you'll see some very good games.

houston has a minor league,the Aeros.I've been to theyre games and there pretty good.The tickets at cheap too.
