Listen to the Mockingbird

Every morning, when I get to work, I hear this beautiful sound. There's a mocking bird that stays in one tree almost all the time. It's singing away as I walk by it. So, the other morning, I decided to tape it. It was still there singing on my lunch break at 2. I get to work about 6:30. Hope you enjoy it like I do. I just love mocking birds. I think they are so sweet to sing like that all day. Too bad it's the state bird because I would love to have one. It's against the law to have one.

Very sweet! I wish I could hear that all day at work; but I don't have an office with a window. At home, though, I hear birdies all the time and sometimes they land on the balcony railing. My Mom is an absolute bird nut and every Christmas and birthday all she wants is something bird-related.

We don't have windows either. I just pass the bird while I'm walking in to work. Wish we did,though, but we're in the middle of the building.
