We love hamsters, and have two females currently. Living in separate cages of course!!! They are so alert and lively. Ralph looks exactly like my girl, Evelyn. He is just precious and I can certainly understand how having him makes you feel better when you are sick!! But do you lose sleep???? They are so nocturnal that we finally had to move ours into the kitchen so they wouldn't keep my daughter awake! http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/eek.gif And I can still hear the squeak, squeak of the wheels during the night while they are "jogging". I have learned to spray the wheels with Pam spray when I clean the cages to cut down on the noise!!

Logan, I can relate...I had hamsters for years when I was growing up and the squeak, squeak of that wheel at night takes some getting used to. I had a cutie that looked like Ralph, too. His name was Johnny-boy.
Hamsters are just SOOO cute, you just gotta love them.
Ralph is a very deserving and handsome Pet of the Day!

Is it possible for a critter to be TOO cute?? I can't look at Ralph's pic. without beaming! What a cuite pie!
