We decided to start this weekend, of course, the most gorgeous weekend we've had all year.

Anyways, right now we've just started.. We're taking down the wallpaper in the dining room. We're about half way done.

We're going to get new tile throughout the entryway, kitchen, and diningroom. And then, new carpet in the living room and hallway.

UGH.. my parents want the UGLIEST colors. No offense to anyone who may have the same taste as them, but they want plan ole growns/greys etc. I want actual COLOR. Something that will look real nice, but not too drstic (like my room)
They like the earthtone colors.

Ack!

Anyways... here's our wallpaper, which is now half gone!

Have fun! Redoing a room/house is always fun, but ALOT of hard work!

We are going to be redoing my bedroom soon and I can't wait!

let us know how it goes, and I would LOVE to see pics of it when it's finished!

We tore Wall paper down in our Dining room, Kitchen, and The down stairs Family room. What are you using to take it down? We used Scrapers and a special Chemical to take it off easier.

Redecorating is always nice, especially when you just need something different.

I really like earthtone colors on walls, such as whites/tans/cremes. :)

I think we may go with the blue carpet and light blue walls now. Once we got the paint samples my parents realized I was right on how it'd look nice ;)

Now we're working on the tile....
My uncle came over to help.
These are the tiles we're picking from. Personally, I like the larger darker one, but my parents like the lighter large one.

Kay I'm with you more color and I like the darker tile too.
I have a living room and a bed room to do this winter. I 'm thinking of a faint light pink and flower trim (my bedroom) I', doing sponge painting in bathroom burgandy with gold trimmed in green ivy.
