Jaime/Jamie Whoa. I think that's the first time I've ever seen my name on a list for something someone *wanted* to name their baby. Especially with even my spelling (Jaime) listed!! I about fell off my chair.

when i was married, we had names chosen.....nonnie elizabeth and kathryn rose were girl names we liked (nonnie was his grandma and elizabeth is my mom), and, cool story about kathyrn rose. we just liked the name, and, had decided it would be cool as a second name if we had more than one girl. about a week after deciding that, i got a pamphlet/brochure for a doll named kathryn rose (spelled exactly how we picked, it was so weird!). and, for a boy, we had chosen dalton vance. i don't dislike the names anymore, but, probably wouldn't chose them if i have children. maybe elizabeth will be in there somewhere, just cuz it's my mom's name and it's so versatile! :) so, is kathryn!

Reasons: I like the name Emma (although my half sister has named her daughters Emma and Sophie), and Jean is my grandma's name as well as mine and my mum's middle name.

Isaac is the name of Matt's grandad (though I would shorten it to Zac) and George is Matt's middle name.
If there are any more kids after this lot then we will have to think of some more names later on!

No skin kids for me, but I have always been interested in names and used to make lists and assign names to all my dolls/stuffed animals when I was a child.

I've bestowed my favorite name of all time, Schuyler (http://catoftheday.com/archive/2003/December/02.html), to one of my cats who is truly deserving. The others get whatever name pops into my head when I rescue them. It may or may not be a personal favorite, but I go with my initial impression/instinct contingent on their individual personalities. :)

I like the name Jaime too. My sister had a friend back in high school named Jaime. I was around 8 then, and Jaime used to always color with me in my coloring books. I LOVED her for that so that name has always stuck as good in my book. :P

What great taste you have, Twisterdog!!!! ;) I was named Logan when there weren't any girls or boys named Logan. And my parents didn't give me a middle name either! I hated it as a child, but I love it now. I was named after my great-grandfather (it was his middle name).

I've had my one and only child at this point, and we named her Helen Rebekah. There aren't many "little" girls named Helen, but I have always loved that name and it fits her perfectly. :)
