Bad News About Alexia :(((((

I am absolutely devastated right now. Alexia's new owners left her in the yard and went away from home for a couple hours and Alexia got out and ran away. AFTER THEY WERE TOLD SHE HAS TO BE 100% INDOORS DUE TO PREVIOUS ESCAPE HISTORY :( They only had her for a week before they did this. I am disgusted, angry, and so terribly sad :(

I just sent pictures to all the kill shelters so I can be contacted if she's found. I'm also working with some people at my shelter hanging up signs and such :( :( :(

I can't stop crying. She was the best dog :( She slept laying next to me with her head resting on my stomach :( :( :(

Were the new owners the ones who told you she'd escaped? I'm surprised they fessed up to it! What did you say to them when you found out? What are you going to or what can you do when she's found? People are such fools. I'm really sorry you and Alexia were let down.

Well the people came by the shelter to see if she'd been brought back there, so that is how I found out. They said she was wearing a tag, but it had their friend's address on it :confused: :confused: I don't know what that is all about since I didn't talk to them directly. Something sounds fishy with that though.

I'm not quite sure what will happen if she's found. I have no ground to stand on since she was a shelter foster. The shelter will have the final say in what happens, and I have bad feelings about that. I'll keep you all updated :(

since the adress on the tags was their friends you should see if that address is the address they put on the aplication to adopt her. if it is then can't they get in trouble? obviosly they are not the right people for this poor girl.:(

ALEXIA WAS FOUND!!!

She is back home with her parents now. I didnt' speak to them so I don't know exact details. The shelter employee who did speak to them assured me that they have learned their lesson. And the great news is they are going to take her through one of the Dog Manners classes that I teach :D :D :D :D :D
