Dale gets "snipped" tomorrow...

...please be thinking of my big boy, as we take him to the vets tomorrow around 8am to get him neutered. I am sure he will do fine, but of course, we mama's always have to worry :)

Kfamr~ We had been contemplating showing Dale, and since we have decided not to, it is time to get neutered, otherwise, we would have done it a long time ago. He is only 100 lbs...and that is considered small for a male Swissie, besides, the show ring is not a place he would feel comfortable in :)

Anyway, i will report in tomorrow...after it is all done :)

Time to go give him his last treat for the night...nothing but water after 8pm :(

We will drop him off at 8:30am MOnday morning.

Dale is home from the white coats :) He did well, and as soon as he saw us walk in the room (where he was crated), he stood up, all wobbly legged, and tail a waggin' :) My brave boy :) Anyway, here are a couple of pics, my hubby just took of me and my big boy :) I am keeping him in the kitchen right now, so he doesn't attempt steps or jumping on the couch, and to keep Christian out of the way...he chose to plop on the floor, rather than his bed, so i wasn't gonna try to move him ;)

I didn't want Dale going up and down steps last night, and jumping up onto couches when we slept, so i left him in the kitchen, with ample thick blankets, so what i did, was brought Christian's baby monitor in there, so if i heard his collar moving (his tags make noise), then i knew to come down and make sure he wasn't bothering the stitches, so i came down twice, and that was it...but it made me feel more secure doing the baby monitor thing, that he was doing okay by himself ;)
