I should have brought a pen and paper with me because I'm probably going to quote this wrong. The test results didn't specifically test positive for cancer cells but it tested for some other thing (I think he called them cells too) that is present when there is cancer. He said it normally doesn't make sense for whatever it was to be present if there isn't cancer, especially in such a large lump. So, he wants me to bring her back in on Monday for additional testing. :(

I didn't realize she was even sick:(

Fingers and paws crossed here that everything turns out ok, and the bad cells go away, or can be treated effectively.

Did Roxy go back in today for more tests? I hope that she's doing OK and that you got more details on her lump diagnosis. Please update when you can.

Hugs to Roxy.

Thanks for asking. Yes, they took more samples. He is thinking that the sample came from the outer layers last time. I'll let you all know.

I don't remember if I'd mentioned it, but she's had the runs and has been kind of moody lately. She often yelps when you pet her. What are some of the side effects that you see when a dog has cancer?

Oreo's recent cancerous lump was in her front leg, and she showed no symptoms other than the lump itself.

I've heard of people with cancer losing weight and feeling tired. I do not know if it is the same for dogs. I wish you and Roxy all the best, and we'll keep you in our thoughts.
