What kind of music is Guster? I've been wondering...is it rap, rock, pop, country?

I have to say my one time all favourite and still is , is from the Eagles.
ONE OF THESE NIGHTS.
I also love VENTURA HIGHWAY AND SISTER GOLDENHAIR,WOMAN TONITE, And MUSKRAT LOVE from AMERICA.,ok there is not much I don't like from this group.
WHO'S CRYING NOW by JOURNEY.

I have seen both these groups perform live, America funnily enough while I was in America, was heartbroken I could not afford to see them recently when they re-banded on NZ tour.

I have many more, but just cannot think of them right now, but these ones have special meanings, from my young days when Iwas extremely happy and having a ball.

I love that one by Maroon 5, She will be loved. I think thats the name of it. I have some more favorites, just can't think of them right now. I love to hear Celine Dion sing.

If I think of anymore, I'll come back and post them. Great thread!

I'm terrible at describing a genre of music, except for really obvious ones. Some refer to Guster as pop/rock. But, I don't know, really! You can check them out at www.guster.com and listen to a few of their tunes there. They are definitely worth that effort. They have great lyrics, they're very melodic with awesome harmonies. There used to be three members, and, they started off with just hand drums (congas and bongos, djembes, that kind of thing) and two guitars. They have four albums out now, and, they've progressed to a fuller sound. They added a fourth member (Joe Pisapia, who is INCREDIBLE) and have incorporated a lot of drum kit, instead of just hand percussion. Check them out and let me know what you think! They had me hooked pretty quickly just with cds, but, once you see them live, you're really done for! :)
