The kittens are still pretty much in isolation until they get a clean bill of health in the worm and bacterial poop department, but I let each of the cats take a quick sniff and peek at the *intruders*. Dylan DID act slightly interested and I think his hiss has less venom in it:rolleyes:
Emily was first and gave them each a sniff and then just sat close and watched them play:)

Surprise Surprise! Eliot seems to be totally enthralled with the babies. He watches, sniffs, paws then gently and has given them a few nuzzles. I even let him watch them play in the bathroom, sitting next to me and he just seemed to love it:)
First Lizzie:
This one never holds still!! What is she?

Aww Debbie, that is so great that Eliot is being so friendly and gentle with them. Glad to hear that Dylan's hiss is little less venomish today. I can't wait to see when they are all romping around together.

We had a little more positive reaction last night. I left Jazz, Ripley and Disney out while the kittens played. Ripley acts afraid of them but very curious and Jazz even sniffed noses with Rocky but then took a high perch and watched for over an hour. Scout is still acting like a wild mountain lion. :( I never imagined she would be so bad.

Isn't Scout your most recent cat? Jen L told me that it is not unusual for the most recent to be the most intimidated - may even act like you least expect - just like Dylan!!! Dylan is a bit better today but he went maniac/ballistic yesterday - hissing at Emily and Eliot - even at Dennis and bit him too:eek: He was pacing the hallways like a panther!! This is my calm, laid back easy going Dylan??? Better today though.

AWWWWWWWE!!! I knew it and I told you so!!! Sorry but I just had to get that out of my system!;) Eliot is going to have some serious play buddies now. Wait a few days until he is more comfortable with them and they are free to run the house. I promise you that he won't be able to resist joining in the hundred mile an hour race through the house! I think Ms. Emily may surprise you too. Layed back Dylan may have the most trouble dealing with two irritating, non stop babies but I promise he will adjust. He may not be too involved with them except during their quieter moments, and there won't be many of those!:D
Isn't this fun and wonderful???!!!

It is such a treat to watch these little cuties grow! Give Dylan an extra bellyrub for me, and a big shmoozle. Its ok, Dylan those little bouncy kitties won't hurt you and I know your meowme and paw paw love you just as much! Join in the fun and be a good big brother ok? :D

AWWWWWW those pictures are so darn adorable. I hope and pray that Lizzie and Robbie have a clean bill of health very soon so they can interact more with the big fellas. Eliot is going to be such a good big brother. YYYAAAAYYYY!!!!!

how cute!
I can totally understand Kylie was so easy and laid back I thought she would immediately take to a kitten. She lived with a cat her entire first year. But she totally surprised me. She is finally getting a bit more relaxed everyday with Kloe.
Altho Kloe just jumped into the chair with Kylie and tried to snuggle her and Kylie just tried to jump up on the back of the chair and covered her with the blanket! :)
Then she bopped her in the head!
