This morning In the Mojave Desert, 100 miles north of Lost
Angeles, Burt Rutan's Space Ship One successfully flew higher than 62 miles above the desert to win the Ansari X 10 million dollar prize as the first privately owned craft to fly into space.
Richard Branson, the owner of Virgin Records/Atlantic has offered to subsidize Rutan's efforts to put citizens into space.
The cost?
200,000 dollars.
I know that some of you would like to see me go into orbit....
Now's your chance!!!
P.S.
Flights should start in three years.....Start Saving!!!!
------------------------------------------------------------------
Congratulations to Burt Rutan and Brian Binnie!

Thursday night The Discovery Channel will rerun a GREAT documentary on the building, testing of the White Knight and SS1.
The video clips of the ship above the earth are worth viewing.:D
