Picking out the rings.... :D

This past Sunday we went looking at Engagement and Wedding rings and have decided on these.

Andy picked this (http://store.fredmeyerjewelers.com/escalate/store/DetailPage/pls/fredmeyerjewelers/bc/fredmeyerjewelers/pc/297929/clist/014b8032df2d:014b8032df39:014b8032df39/ret/1-10/pls5catname/1-10) for his wedding band.

I picked this (http://store.fredmeyerjewelers.com/escalate/store/DetailPage/pls/fredmeyerjewelers/bc/fredmeyerjewelers/pc/xHSSOL33Y/clist/014b8032df2d:014b8032df3d:014b8032df3d/ret/1-17/pls5catname/1-17) for my engagement ring. It'll be in white gold though.

I haven't decided though on what 'enhancer' or 'wrap' (http://store.fredmeyerjewelers.com/escalate/store/CategoryPage/pls/fredmeyerjewelers/bc/fredmeyerjewelers/cc/1-20/clist/014b8032df2d:014b8032df43/ret/1-20/startNum/0/rangeNum/8) styles I like. I do know it'll be white gold with diamonds and saphhires. :D

We'll be purchasing them this upcoming weekend. :cool:

My wedding band is gold with channel set diamonds. Hubby's is plain gold, but triple the cost of mine. Why you ask? Because his ring size is so large we had to have it custome made. Here's my size 7 1/2 ring INSIDE his....

I approve of the white metal with sapphire and diamonds! My wedding ring is a family heirloom, Paul's grandmother's engagement ring, which is platinum with diamonds and sapphires! I've gotten many compliments on it over the years, and while sapphires are not my birthstone, they've always been my favorite, so it was a happy coincidence!

Wow Catnapper! I'm a size 4 1/2 and Andy is a 6 1/2. His may take longer to arrive because it'll probably need to be custom made. Us and our little fingers. *laughs*

Sapphires just seemed right. Blue is my favorite color, September is the month he proposed, and they are as blue as the water of the Falls where he proposed. :D

I love your choices, Kimmy! I'm a platinum with diamonds and sapphires girl too! My engagement ring has a sapphire in the middle, with a diamond on either side, and I wear two diamond bands on either side. I'm a bit "gaudy" these days, and I love it!!! :p

They're beautiful Kimmy! I, too, love the platinum (or did you say white gold?) with the sapphires. What a beautiful combination. And I think Andy's is cool. It looks like "stone" which to me would represent how solid and steadfast he is and how he will always be the rock you can lean on. :)

I went with just diamonds for mine, but I now have a diamond and sapphire band that I wear as well--I loooooove sapphires-the most beautiful stone, in my opinion:)

I just love rings! The ones you have chosen are so nice! :D I especially liked the first wrap on the first page. It seemed to compliment a heart-shaped diamond the best, and it would look awsome with sapphires and in white gold! Congrats again! We want to see pics of them when you get 'em! ;)
